How MyEyes Shares Home IOP Data with Your Ophthalmologist
Collecting readings is only half the job. Here's how MyEyes formats, annotates, and delivers HOME2 data so your doctor can plug it straight into their EHR without extra clicks.
Doctors love data until it arrives as an unreadable spreadsheet. We built the MyEyes workflow to make HOME2 readings effortless for clinics to review and archive.
Step 1: Tag & Sync
During onboarding we show you how to tag readings (AM, PM, meds, posture). The HOME2 app syncs securely to MyEyes so we can see trend lines in real time.
Step 2: Weekly Summary Reports
- PDF overview: Includes median, range, spike count, and adherence notes.
- 30-day chart: Plots pressures alongside medication changes or events (e.g., SLT).
- Clinician notes: Patient Ambassadors add context like headaches, sleep disruptions, or steroid use.
Step 3: Secure Delivery
- Direct fax: Most glaucoma clinics still prefer fax for charting; we auto-send PDFs to the number on file.
- Encrypted email: For practices using modern EHR portals (ModMed, NextGen), we send HIPAA-compliant links.
- Patient portal upload: We can upload on your behalf if the clinic provides access.
Step 4: Doctor Feedback Loop
If your doctor wants different intervals or formats, we customize templates for them. Some surgeons want raw CSVs; others want a one-page dashboard. Because we work with top glaucoma centers nationwide, chances are we already know their preference.
Integrating with Treatment Decisions
When a doctor reviews a MyEyes report they typically respond in one of three ways:
- Stay the course: Pressures are on target; keep current regimen.
- Adjust meds: Change dosing schedule or add a second agent based on time-of-day spikes.
- Escalate care: Schedule SLT or MIGS when data shows persistent elevations.
What Patients Need to Do
- Measure consistently: 3–5 readings per time slot make trends clearer.
- Use the note field: Mention headaches, stress, or missed drops.
- Tell us your next appointment: We’ll time a highlight report for your visit.
Data only matters if it reaches the right person. Let us handle the logistics so you can focus on taking readings.
